Websites & Marketing for Electricians That Generate Leads

BDJ Electrical is a growing company of 4 electricians that service a range of clients such as developers, body corporates, commercial and industrial bodies. They approached Tradie Web Guys to get their online presence standing out and deliver quality leads.
Meet Ben Johnson.
Ben Johnson has been in the electrical industry for 17 years, and was fortunate to have been mentored and taught by fantastic tradespeople. He had spent years learning to be an expert in my field, learning invaluable lessons that have contributed to my personal and professional development.

In March 2016, he came back home intending to start a company and wanting to challenge himself professionally. He wanted to incorporate his expertise and experience into a tangible vision and to follow his values and dreams, working towards his passion.

The Business

Brisbane-based BDJ Electrical serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Logan City. These reputable electricians have experience in working across a range of large scale commercial projects, tier 1 manufacturing as well as with developers. With such a range of expertise, they aim to set the industry benchmark in all that they do.

The Objective

The owner, Ben, wanted his new website to be more visible to people looking for their services. This would mean taking steps to improve their current ranking.

The Challenges

Their old website was dated and lacked a clear message about their services as well as important conversion factors. To create a website that could be used as a marketing tool for this electrical company, we would require original images and full service copywriting.

The Solution

Overhauling the website in WordPress, our developers got to work creating a responsive, modern, easy to navigate website. The client provided us with images to use, which enabled us to create a website that truly reflected the client and their work.

Adding reviews and a gallery section would give potential clients more opportunity to connect to BDJ, and with forms and click to call buttons peppered throughout the site, users can contact from any page.

The copywriting team created SEO friendly copy that would also appeal to the correct audience. This was part of the full picture marketing strategy for electricians BDJ that Tradie Web Guys developed, aligning with their goals to see more traffic coming through the website.

Upon completion of their website, the team initiated the SEO for electricians campaign, to get the results rolling in.
