Reactive Plumbing came to Tradie Web Guys after hearing about them on The Site Shed podcast, which Matt Jones (director) facilitates.

Reactive Plumbing had an existing website, however, it was dated and it lacked functionality, navigation and the ability to update it was limited.

Project Specifications

• In order for the website to be easily managed by the client, we built it using WordPress, which is our choice of CMS.
• Our WordPress websites enable our clients to easily add, amend and remove content at their discretion.
• The design needed to be unique and stand out from the majority of Plumbing websites out there. The client was very meticulous about this.

Project Obstacles

The project itself required a large amount of detail and many incorporated elements that were new to our design team.

The client provided us with some great images, that we were able to use throughout the site, which came in helpful with the design scope.

Project Duration

Although the project was very involved, it only took three weeks to complete. This is largely due to the client being fantastic in following our procedures to obtain the information that we required and also their ability to work with our team to identify their tastes and goals

With all of the information we needed, being made available to us, the development team was able to build an amazing project, in record time.

Pest Control’s Website Brief

Natraspray approached Tradie Web Guys to help them with their pest control website. They had an existing website, however, the layout was dated and functionality was very limited.

They wanted more traffic, however, the existing website was not built for conversion and lacked what we at Tradie Web Guys consider, ‘fundamental conversion elements’.

Also, Natraspray did not have a system in place that could help them capture visitor information and their current email provider was unreliable, regularly letting them down.

Project Duration

Although the project was very involved, it only took three weeks to complete.

This is largely due to the client being fantastic in following our procedures to obtain the information that we required and also their ability to work with our team to identify their tastes and goals.

Project Obstacles

The vertical that Natraspray Pest Control operate in is not overly competitive, so we needed to make sure that the keywords we were optimising web pages for were actually being searched.

The images that we sourced needed to reflect the Australian market as a lot of them were clearly North American. This took a little longer than expected as we couldn’t use the vendor we normally purchase images through.

Natraspray’s logo colours are green and gold, which are quite bright. Unlike the old website, we wanted to keep the design of the new website a lot more simple, clean and easy to navigate.

This meant we had to reduce the amount of green and gold across the site, which worked out very well.

Project Specifications

Although the core of this project is a pest control website, the initial conversation was focussed more on lead generation.

After auditing Natraspray Pest Control’s website, it was obvious to us that a lead generation strategy would be a waste of time until the website was able to convert the traffic it was receiving into enquiries.

We built them a beautiful new website using WordPress and we incorporated technology that makes it very simple for them to update and use.

We set them up on Google’s ‘G Suite’ to fix their email problems and give them access to the suite of apps that come with the Google Suite.  This includes (but is not limited to) Google Drive, which is an enterprise solution cloud storage platform that basically puts the running of a business at the fingertips of a business owner.

Through Google Drive, you can literally access all of your business information and documentation via a smartphone, tablet, computer, or any device that connects to the internet. It’s amazing.

Lastly, we integrated the website’s forms with an email marketing program. This enabled us to start capturing information and data for prospects and customers, while at the same time building a healthy database for Natraspray.

This tool can be used for sending automated email sequences, individual email broadcasts, deal tracking and many other things. It’s a very powerful tool in the arsenal of any business and looking forward, Natraspray will be able to use the information that it collects to market to leads and communicate with existing customers.

As a business that is growing fast, Silverwater Plumbing needed a website that represented their business professionally, while providing them with a marketing platform that could help them tell their story and allow them to make additions and amendments as their business grew.

This business wanted a website that really stood out amongst their competition. It was important to them and the new design, by Tradie Web Guys, has certainly achieved that.

Why Sapphire Trade Services needed a new website for their electrical business.

As a relatively young business, Sapphire Trade Service had initially tried to save some costs by creating their own website.

To their credit, they had done a great job, however they realised that in order to really move ahead, they were going to require a website that offered them more flexibility and scalability.

Chris saw Matt present in Las Vegas at a business workshop and upon returning to Australia, they connected and engaged Tradie Web Guys to see if and how they may be able to assist.

Sapphire Trade Services Electrical and Plumbing website brief.

Sapphire Trade Services is an electrical and plumbing company located in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. Owned and run by Chris and his wife Emma, they wanted a product that put them back in control of their content and marketing.

Also, because Sapphire Services carry out some really interesting and unique projects, they wanted a place that enabled them to showcase their work in a professional spotlight.

Project Specifications

• The clients had built their previous website using WIX, which was a great solution to get them started, however it lacked a lot of functionality required in a modern website. For that reason, we built their new site WordPress, using some plugins and themes they would need.
• They wanted a website that they could easily update with project galleries and content.
• The wanted to join our care plan, so we could manage and keep it running optimally.

Project Obstacles

Websites for electricians are typically quite straight forward, as for the better part they don’t need lots of technical requirements.

The main challenge we faced with this site was making sure the colour scheme worked as they have quite bright colours.  We didn’t want to make the site too much like a glowing neon sign, so we had to make sure that it had a good mix of white and the brand colours.

Project Duration

From start to finish, the Sapphire Services website rebuild only took Tradie Web Guys just under three weeks.

Chris and Emma were fantastic in getting us the information we required and they were very helpful with any queries the development team might have had.

After Snapshot

The finished product for Sapphire Services website was a great success.

Within days, Emma was following our course on how to create SEO friendly content which led to them adding new pages and amending the content on their new site.

We were very impressed with how quickly they took to firstly learning and secondly implementing what they’ve learned.

They’re loving the look and feel of their new site and their loving being able to get in and make changes at their own discretion (which they could not do previously).
