It was imperative that before we started work on their new website that we understood Precision Control’s offering and who their ideal client was. Precision Control & Electrical is a niche electrical business that caters to industrial clients. Unlike most electricians, they do no work in the maintenance space, and do not serve the residential market. 

Anyone who requires the services Precision Control provides will be searching directly for their business, and/or using very specific keywords to describe their electrical needs. We can see six months after launching this site that 45.4% of website visitors are coming through direct search, and 50% through organic search results.

Therefore, the new website needed to effectively showcase the services this company provides, so when someone lands on the website they can quickly ascertain whether Precision Control will meet their needs, and make contact from there.

The Objective

We established several objectives for this website. 

  1. To create strong foundations in a quality built modern website that would serve the company for many years, adapting to growth and marketing initiatives as necessary.
  2. To attract the right customers to make contact by making the messaging on the website clear.
  3. To improve conversions by making the call to actions more straightforward throughout the website
  4. To establish Precision Control & Electrical as an expert authority in their vertical through addition of original imagery, showcasing projects and testimonials.

Due to the specific nature of their work, we agreed early on that SEO or other marketing wasn’t necessary at this time. One of the benefits of being a full service marketing company is that we won’t upsell you products that won’t serve your business.
