Creating Websites For Builders That Look Great

Zenith Built came to Tradie Web Guys with specific design requirements for their website, wanting it to be very imagery focused, but they also wanted to perform well on the search engines. Taking the client's feedback on board, we designed a custom solution integrating SEO principles.
Meet Zenith Built.

Adelaide-based Zenith Built approached Tradie Web Guys because of our reputation for building websites for builders. Zenith Built has been in the construction sector for 18 years and has established itself as a premier custom house builder in Adelaide. Zenith Built approached Tradie Web Guys with specific design requirements for their website, including a strong emphasis on images.

The Business

Zenith Built has been in the building industry for 18 years, having established themselves as a leading custom home builder in Adelaide. Their services range from design and construction to renovations, extensions and repairs.

The Objective

There were three main areas we wanted to focus on with this website; imagery, information and navigation. We knew people were coming to this website to see examples of past projects, while looking for information pertaining to their job. As a business, it is your responsibility to provide accurate information that reflects your service offering, and by doing this you can stand out from the crowd.

99% of marketing you do will come back to your website, so it’s important to present well and have the right conversion factors in place to capture those leads.

The Challenges

We wanted to find a balance between content and a “minimalist” website design. To do this, our web development team came up with beautiful and functional solutions that would integrate necessary information through responsive design.

The Solution

The team got to work designing a new website, enlisting our copywriting team to create SEO optimised content. We worked with the client to find a design that they loved, while staying aligned with our main objectives.

Since building is such a visual trade, it was important to integrate as much original imagery across websites for builders as possible. The calibre of work done by Zenith Built is outstanding, and they do such a great job of documenting their work with photography. From the moment you land on their new website, you can tell they are great at what they do.

While some websites for builders only focus on imagery, we wanted to provide visitors with the information they were searching for. By doing this, we were able to incorporate key search terms that would help Zenith Built show up in the search engines.

Four months after the website launch, we can see that visitors are spending more than 3 minutes on average taking in the information. Industry standard says 2-3 minutes is good, so they are doing well!

The old website did not include sufficient information to attract customers, lead them to the right places, or convert them with calls to action. The new website would create clear pathways for visitors to take, depending on their needs. While the client did not want conversion factors such as phone numbers or forms littering their website, we found a classy and functional solution in order to include them.

The website as a whole showcases what the builder can do for their customers, and encourages visitors to take the next step: become a Zenith Built customer. We look forward to seeing it serve them for many years to come.
